Bonnie Fierro

Bonnie L. Fierro, 79, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Bonnie was born February 18, 1936 in Greenup Kentucky a daughter of the late Homer and Izetta Sturgill Stephenson.

Bonnie spent her life as a homemaker, well known for her old-fashioned down home cooking. She was of Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dominic A. Fierro Sr. and 1 sister Shirley Jean Hill.

She is survived by 2 sons, Dominic Fierro Jr. of South Shore, Kentucky and Eugene Ward Jr. of Orange City, Florida; 2 daughters, Shirley Ward of Orange City, Florida and Johnda Coburn of Bartow, Florida; 3 brothers, Larry Stephenson and his wife Sally of Wurtland, Kentucky, Joe Stephenson and his wife Brenda of Illinois and Wayne Stephenson and his wife Linda of Greenup; 3 sisters, Ethel Ward of Greenup, Belva Brown of Raceland and Lois Sizemore of Greenup; 3 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and Fierro family members who she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Tim Rogers. Burial will be in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky. Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until service at the funeral home.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donation be made to Reed Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
