StartFragmentNellie Bea Stringer, 96, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her family and friends that dearly loved her on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 Nellie was born May 13, 1919 in Wurtland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late George William and Laura Leslie England Grubb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband George Wright and her 2nd husband Cecil Stringer.

She is survived by Two Daughters

Edna Cremeans and her husband Bill of Lloyd, Kentucky, Nancy Bays and her husband John of Lloyd, Kentucky, Two Brothers

Les Grubb and his wife Katherine “Birdie” of Wurtland, Kentucky Willard Grubb and his wife Corrine of Wurtland, Kentucky Three Sisters

Janice Webb of Wurtland, Kentucky Mary Cordle and her husband Calvin of Greenup, Kentucky Alma Tony and her husband Paul of Wurtland, Kentucky

Four Grandchildren

Chris Cremeans and his wife Carol of Lloyd, Kentucky Jeff Bays of Greenup, Kentucky Dustan Wright and her husband Jay of Lloyd Kentucky Scott Bays and his wife Bobbie Sue of Bryan, GA

Nellie, affectionately known as Granny Bea, will be greatly missed by everyone who loved and knew her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lloyd. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Lloyd by Pastor Jim Yates. Burial will be in Heaberlin Cemetery in Wurtland. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 pm Thursday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky and one hour before the service on Friday at the Church. EndFragment
