John Milton Reed, 84, of Big White Oak Road, York, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at his home.
John was born April 21, 1932 in York, Kentucky a son of the late Lonnie and Stella Howard Reed.
He was a member of Little Sandy Baptist Church in Greenup and he also attended Load Christian Baptist Church in Load, Kentucky. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #437, Portsmouth, Ohio. John served his country as a military police while stationed at Fort Knox during the Korean War for the United States Army. He also was a farmer.

John was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Wayne Stephenson. Burial will be in the D.C. Quillen Family Cemetery York, Kentucky. Military rites will be preformed by Marine Corps League Greenbo Detachment
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
