Betty Ruth Stapleton, 81, of Ashland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday April 21, 2017 at Kings’ Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Stapleton was born January 25, 1936 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late William and Ina Moore Stephenson.

She loved going to church and her church family at Raccoon Freewill Baptist in Greenup, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday April 25, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Chuck McCormick. Burial will be in Coalton Community Cemetery in Coalton, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday April 24, 2017 and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
