James Randall Boggs

James Randall Boggs, 67, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Monday June 5, 2017 at the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Boggs was born February 14, 1950 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of Mildred Geneva Meadows Claxon and the late James Heirm Boggs and his step-father Walter Fletcher who raised him.

James was a member of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church at Oldtown, Kentucky. He was a United States Vietnam War Army Veteran. He also loved to work on old classic cars and he enjoyed watching football especially the Cleveland Browns.

In addition to his father and step-father he was preceded in death by

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday June 9, 2017 at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Oldtown, Kentucky by Pastor John Lybrook. Burial will be in the Boggs Cemetery in Warnock, Kentucky. Military rites will be performed.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 pm Thursday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky and one hour before the service on Friday at the church. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
