Billy Ray Benson

Billy Ray Benson, 81, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Benson was born March 23, 1936 in Carter County, Kentucky a son of the late Gifford and Emma Frances Griffith Benson.

In addition to her parents he was preceded in death by one brother Phillip Stacey.

He is survived by

Three nephews

Phillip and Trina Stacey Jr. of Ashland, Kentucky

Mike and Karen Stacey of Harrodsburg, Kentucky

Shawn and Dina Stacey of Chaffin, South Carolina

One niece Pan Stacey of Nicholasville, Kentucky

There will be no services at this time.

Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
