Todd Vernon Adkins

Todd Vernon Adkins, 47, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away November 20, 2017 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Adkins was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 14, 1970 a son of Sharon Belford Chaffins and the late Claude Vernon Adkins.

Todd worked as a welder until disabled. He loved to BBQ and entertain friends and family. He was the life of the party and loved by all. He will be missed beyond words. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one sister Tamera Alber. In addition to his mother he was survived by his loving wife of 15 years Brenda Wallace Adkins; step father John Chaffins; One brother Michael Alber of Houston, Texas; four sisters Dawn and Kent Nealey of Greenup, Kentucky, Lisa Alber Jackson of Lexingotn, Kentucky, Sherri and Bill Michaels of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Heather and Joe Mershon of Urbana, Ohio; and one half sister Sherry and Bill Michaels of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

A celebration of Todd’s life with dinner will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 pm on Sunday December 3, 2017 at the Flatwoods in Senior Citizens Center in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Everyone is welcome. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
