Dorothy Metzker

Dorothy Louise Metzker, 88, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mrs. Metzker was born April 22, 1929 in Lynchburg, Virginia a daughter of the late Howard Leonard and Louise Ovanee White Smith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry G. Metzker; one son Ronnie Lee Metzker; and one sister Jeanette Whitt.

She is survived by one son Douglas Metzker of Wurtland, Kentucky; two grandchildren Keith Anthony Metzker and Ginger Metzker Frasure; and one great grandson Derek Frasure.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday December 11, 2017 at Plum Grove – Collins Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Danny Brown. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
