John Robert Wamsley

John R. Wamsley, 63, of Argillite, Kentucky passed away Wednesday March 14, 2018 at his residence.

Mrs. Wamsley was born May 30, 1954 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of the late Robert Wamsley and Edna May Davis Stapleton.

John lived in Columbus, Ohio for many years and moved back to Kentucky about 2 years ago. He loved to farm and fish.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Cathy Wamsley; one son David “Crockett” Wamsley; his twin sister Judy Blankenship.

He is survived by two sons

20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews who adored him.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by. Burial will be in Kirby Flatts Cemetery in Ashland, Kentucky.
