Charlie Thomas Potter Sr.

Charlie Thomas Potter Sr. 68, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2018 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Potter was born March 13, 1950 in Letitia, Kentucky a son of the late John Leslie and Mary Wray Humble Potter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Lou Traylor Potter; three brothers Carl Potter, Earl Potter, Jr. Potter; and one sister Ella Potter.

He is survived by two sons Charlie (Debby) Potter Jr. of Grayson, Kentucky and Roger (Stephanie) Potter of Load, Kentucky; One daughter Rita (David) Worthington of Worthington, Kentucky; four sisters Georgie Sparks of Troy, Ohio, Elizabeth (Wes) Rayburn of Oneta, Alabama, Della Tucker of Oxen Hill, Maryland, and Bonnie (Tim) Callihan of Argillite, Kentucky; five grandchildren Whitnee Potter, Nanessa (Nestor) Pacheco Bravo, Cassey Worthington, Madison Potter, and Derricka (Ben) Hutchison; and two great grandchildren Lane Abdon and Willow Hutchinson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday April 9, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Kevin Whitt. Burial will be in McGuire Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky.
