Edith Burteen Adkins

Edith B. Adkins, 93, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at her home. Edith was born January 7, 1925 in Greenup, Kentucky a daughter of the late Albert and India Nichols Brown. She was a member of Greenup First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Ivan Wayne Adkins

a host of nieces, nephews, and church family who will miss her greatly.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Johnson-Vaughn Cemetery in Load, Kentucky by Dr. Tom Melvin. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any children’s charity of their choice. Edith’s services have been entrusted to Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com.
