Clarence Edward Hamilton

Clarence Edward Hamilton, 87, of Wurtland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2019 at his residence in Wurtland surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Hamilton was born April 26, 1931 in Greenup County, Kentucky a son of the late James Hamilton and Martha Adkins Conley. He was retired from CSX where he worked for 42 years.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Charlene Cremeans and one grandson Travis “Benji” McDowell.

He is survived his wife of 68 years Christine Coffey Hamilton who he referred to as his “beautiful wife”

Jamey (Tricia) Halleck, Allen (Tracy) Halleck, Paul Hamilton Jr., Jonathan (Danielle) Hamilton, Christy Mynhier, J.R. (Olivia) Wells, Nathan McDowell, Summer (Josh) O’Neal,

fourteen great grandchildren several nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Ralph Wells, Bro. Roger McCaleb, and Jamey Halleck. Burial will be in Sexton Cemetery in Danleyton, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
