Katherine O. Taylor

Katherine O. Taylor, 81, of Wurtland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.

Katherine was born October 31, 1937 in Wurtland, Kentucky a daughter of the late David and Goldie Stevens Gillispie. She was a retired teacher’s aide from the Greenup County School system where she worked with disabled children. She was a charter member of the Chinns Branch Baptist Church in Wurtland. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one great-grandson Joey Kemper.

She is survived by

Randy (Pamala) Taylor of Raceland, Kentucky

Jon (Lisa) Taylor of Wurtland, Kentucky

Anita Warner of Raceland, Kentucky

Kimberly Morgan of Argillite, Kentucky

twenty great-grandchildren

one great-great granddaughter

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Chinns Branch Baptist Church in Wurtland, Kentucky by Pastor Denver Woods. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com.
