James C. Sullivan
James C Sullivan, 82, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Monday April 22, 2019 at his son’s residence in Ashland. Mr. Sullivan was born January 26, 1937 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Monroe and Sally Manuel Sullivan. James was a Laborer in the Laborer’s Local Union 1445 for 30 + years. After retiring from the union he sold watermelons and cantaloupe on Rt. 60 and was known as the “Cantaloupe Man”. His family was his entire life and he loved being with them. He spent the last several years living with his son James Sullivan and daughter-in-law June Workman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Earl Sullivan, Sam Sullivan, Tom Sullivan, and Orville Sullivan; three brother-in-laws Charles “Sandy” Rhodes, Harlen Felts, and Brad Steele.

Phyllis (Larry) Leasure, Kathy Felts, Kay Rhodes, and Linda Steele all of Chillicothe, Ohio
Three sister-in-laws
Opal Sullivan, Pat Sullivan, and Linda Sullivan all of Chillicothe, Ohio
Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren
