Donald Eugene Bowers

Donald Eugene Bowers, 76, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away, Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his home. Eugene was born February 15, 1944 in Franklin County, Ohio a son of the late Hopps Bowers and Emma Sheets Bowers Omen. He was retired from Rumpke Garbage Removal in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Fern Marie Salveto Bowers and is second wife Anita Scarberry Bowers; step-father Harold Omen; two sons Samuel Jay Scarberry and Donald Bowers Jr.; one daughter Nicole Bowers and one brother Kenny Bowers.

He is survived by a niece Yolanda Foody who was his caregiver for several years; three sons Chris Bowers, Michael Bowers and Denis Bowers all of Columbus, Ohio;

three brothers David Bowers of Athens, Ohio, Dewayne Bowers and Hobby Scarberry both of Columbus, Ohio; one sister Joyce Bowers of Columbus, Ohio; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
