John-michael Wheeler Brown

John-michael Wheeler Brown, 37, of Ashland, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. John-michael was born December 8, 1982 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of Darrell E. Brown of Ashland, Kentucky and Suzanna Wheeler Stephens of Ashland, Kentucky. He was a 2001 graduate of Ashland Paul Blazer High School and was a self-employed electrician and plumber. He was a member of Old Orchard Christian Church in Ashland, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Maynard Wheeler; maternal grandmother Betty Henson Wheeler and paternal grandmother Beatrice Brown.

In addition to his parents he is survived one daughter Marie Brown of Ashland, Kentucky; his “bonus” father Anthony Stephens; paternal grandfather Eugene Brown of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Jeff (Randi) Brown of Worthington, Kentucky and William (Summer) Stephens of Georgetown, Kentucky; seven sisters Christi Clarke of Wilmington, North Carolina, Deanna Brown of Lexington, Kentucky, Monica (Brandon) Anderson of Box Elder, South Dakota, Martha (Hank) Knight of Louisville, Kentucky, Sarah Stephens of Lexington, Kentucky, Mary Stephens of Lexington, Kentucky and Cadence Stephens of Ashland, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus there will be a private graveside service at the Sunrise Cemetery in Greenup by Pastor Joey Kennedy. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the services.
