Rose M. Arnett

Rose M. Arnett, 77, passed away Sunday May 17, 2020 at her daughters’ home in Greenup, Kentucky. Mrs. Arnett was born October 1, 1942 a daughter of the late James and Hazel Adams Prater. She was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxillary V.F.W. Post #1168 Greenup, Kentucky. She loved her family and her favorite hobby was playing bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband John Hay; her second husband James Arnett; three brothers Candy Prater, James Prater, Paul Prater; three sisters Helen Prater, Jean Stapleton, and Lois McCarty.

She is survived by

Edna Hay of Flatwoods, Kentucky

Stella Worthington of Ashland, Kentucky

16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday May 20, 2020 at Grizzle Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at rlrfuneralhome.com
