Brenda Gayle Nichols

Brenda Gayle Nichols, 77, of Greenup passed away, Saturday, June 13, 2020 at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Brenda was born May 24, 1943 in Russell, Kentucky a daughter of the late John and Madelyn Walker Pennington.

She was a homemaker and a retired seamstress. She was also a graduate of Russell High School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Gerald Nichols and one brother Gerald Pennington.

She is survived by one son Jeff (Donna) Nichols of Russell, Kentucky; one daughter Cynthia Nichols of Greenup, Kentucky; two sisters Phyllis Pennington of Nicholsville, Kentucky and Donna Zumstein of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren Geoffrey Nichols, Jeremy Nichols and Christina (Malcom) McCollum; two great-grandchildren Callum and Rayden Annmarie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in the Carolina Cemetery in Raceland, Kentucky.
