Virgie Helton Meeks Damron

Virgie Helton Meeks Damron, 96, of Worthington, Kentucky went to be with her Lord on July 11, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center surrounded by her family.

Virgie was born on January 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Adam and Ella England Helton. Virgie loved her church, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jake Meeks and second husband Bill Damron, daughter Connie Pernell, grandson Jason Meeks, four brothers and three sisters.

Virgie is survived by one son David (Beverly) Meeks, one daughter Rita (Chester) Talbert; three grandchildren Krista (Maniel) Miller, Michael (Pilar) Evans, and Justin Evans; five great grandchildren David, Chance, Delaney, Sofia, and Alia; one brother Burl (Mabel) Helton; one brother-in-law Jim Purnell; and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday July 17, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Gary Arthur. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky.
