Ronald Lee Houston

Ronald Lee Houston, 72, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord July 17, 2020 at his residence in Argillite surrounded by his loving family who loved him dearly. Mr. Houston was born July 6, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma a son of the late William “Bill” and Neva Lane Tackett.

He was retired from CSX Railroad, was an avid hunter, and liked to fish. He was a charter member of Eastern Kentucky Coon Hunter Association and graduated from Wurtland High School in 1966.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Connie Grubb Houston; one son Ryan (Kimberly) Houston of Argillite, Kentucky; one daughter Missy (Larry) Hackworth of Greenup, Kentucky; one granddaughter that he raised Lakin (Kyle Martin) Houston of Wurtland, Kentucky; one grandson Hunter Houston; one brother Donald Houston of Wurtland, Kentucky; one sister Brenda (Herman) Salyers of Argillite, Kentucky; two bonus grandchildren Larry (Emilee) Hackworth Jr. and LaMista (Josh) Rohde; and two bonus great grandchildren India Hackworth and Isla Hackworth; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and coon hunting buddies who will miss him dearly.
