Wesley Breeding Sr.

Wesley Breeding, Sr., 82, husband of Loretta Sue Cole Breeding of Argillite, passed away, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Huntington VA Hospital. He was born May 11, 1938 in Halo, Kentucky a son of the late Irvin and Julia Ann Burke Breeding.

Mr. Breeding attended Wheelwright High School, and then served in the United States Marine Corp. He later worked for General Telephone Company (GTE) as PBX Repairman. His greatest joy was his four great-grandchildren who he enjoyed time with just before his death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Loretta Cole Breeding; two daughters Tamala and her husband Bill of Argillite, KY and Angela and her husband Brent of Berea, Ky and one son, Wesley Breeding, Jr and his wife Dana of Braselton, GA. His is also survived by eight grandchildren (Jennifer Morgan (Morris) Duckworth, Brandon Morgan (Elizabeth), Tyler Martin, Rudy Breeding, Andrew Breeding, Samantha Breeding, Tonya Baker and Megan Baker) three step-grandchildren (Nick Martin, Joseph Frederickson, and Jamie Ledonne), and four great-grandchildren (Mila and Ethan Morgan, and Isabella and Landry Duckworth).

Private graveside services will be conducted by Brent Baker at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.

Reed Funeral Home in Greenup have been entrusted with the services.
