Wanda Gail Parton

Wanda Gail Parton, 75, of Wurtland, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, Kentucky.

Mrs. Parton was born July 28, 1945 in Greenup, Kentucky a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Lambert Sizemore. She was a 1962 graduate of the former Wurtland High School and was a salesclerk at Wal-Mart and the Dollar General Store when she lived in Texas.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Eugene Parton Jr, a brother Bill Sizemore and a sister Joyce Ward.

She is survived by a son Chris Fields of Wurtland, Kentucky; two step-sons John (Amy) Parton of Cartersville, Georgia and Lonny (Sharla) Parton of Fort Worth, Texas; a step-daughter Faye McCartney of Montegut, Louisiana; three brothers Mac Sizemore, Douglas Sizemore both of Greenup and Keith (Sheila) Sizemore of Ironton, Ohio; two sisters Thelma (Bill) Brown of Canton, Michigan and Wilma Wolff of Columbus, Ohio; five step grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sister in laws Susie Sizemore of Wurtland and Linda Sipes of Worthington, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews.
