Amanda Marie Keibler

Amanda Marie Keibler, 75, of South Shore, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Amanda was born October 8, 1946, in Portsmouth, Ohio a daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Miller McDowell.

She was a 1964 graduate of the former McKell High School in South Shore, and a member of Rosemont Nazarene Parsonage in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was also a member of the Eastern Star #937, Harrison Lodge, and the Women’s Junior Club both in South Shore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia Rene Keibler and a sister Betty June McDowell.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Donald F. Keibler; a son Chad Franklin Keibler of Flatwoods, Kentucky; a brother John (Sue) McDowell of South Shore, Ohio; a sister Paula (Luke) Frantz of Valrico, Florida; two grandchildren Miranda (Mason Cocanougher) Hungate and Julianna Keibler; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly.

There will be a celebration of Life from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Rosemont Nazarene Parsonage, 1422 Rosemont Road, Portsmouth, Ohio. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com
