Amie Sue Rhoden

Amie Sue Rhoden, 43, of Portsmouth, Ohio, formerly of Greenup, Kentucky passed away at her residence in Portsmouth. Amie was born February 20, 1981, in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of Trina (Earl) Adkins Kirk of Greenup, Kentucky and the late J.D. Rhoden. She loved to crochet and take care of animals.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Woody and Edith Grubb Medley and Virgil and Billie Newman Adkins; uncle Grover Adkins; and several other aunts and uncles.

In addition to her mother and stepfather she is survived by aunts Connie (Pete) Martin of Greenup, Kentucky, Vickie Adkins of Greenup, Kentucky, Regina Denton, and Kim Rhoden; three uncles Fred Rhoden, Wayne Rhoden, and Jeff Rhoden; and several cousins who will all miss her dearly.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Kenny Martin. Burial will be in Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky.
