Anthony Lee Melvin Sr.

Anthony Lee Melvin Sr., 54, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 18, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Anthony was born November 6, 1966, in Russell, Kentucky a son of William Earl Melvin and his wife Christie of Greenup, Kentucky and the late Mildred Marie Rhoden Melvin.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son Austin Melvin.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a son Anthony Lee Melvin Jr, of Louisville, Kentucky; two stepsons Joseph Keifer and Scott Keifer both of Mississippi; two daughters Erin Melvin of Russell, Kentucky and Danielle Melvin of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother James (Christi) Melvin of Greenup, Kentucky;

One sister Debra Kennedy of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews aunts, uncle and family that loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday. October 26, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Denver Woods and Bro. Ernie Melvin. Burial will be in the Melvin Cemetery, Wurtland, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
