Betty Ruth Altman

Betty Ruth Altman, 88, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2023, in Southern Ohio Hospice Care in Portsmouth, Ohio. Betty was born July 24, 1934, in Portsmouth, Ohio a daughter of the late Delbert and Helen Martin Peach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Altman and one son Robert Bryan Altman.

She is survived by a son William (Anne) Altman of Lakeland, Florida; two daughters Beverly Lutzs of Sciotoville, Ohio and Cindy (Greg) Rankins of South Portsmouth, Kentucky; six grandchildren Chris Lutzs, Shawn Lutzs, Mike Werner, Cody Rankins, Brad Altman, Robby Altman, Hannah Altman, Amber, Clayton, and Jessica; and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be a private burial on Monday, January 23, 2023. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements. www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
