Billy Joe Wireman

Billy Joe Wireman, 87, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 14, 2025, at his residence in Greenup. Billy was born November 13, 1937, in Magoffin Co., Kentucky, a son of the late Lacy and Daisy Allen Wireman. He was a tobacco farmer and worked for several years at Pittsburg Pipe Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Stella Marie Marshall Wireman; one brother John Wireman; one sister Mornie Rister; one grandson Lane Wireman.

He is survived by two sons Stephen (Deeann) Wireman of Load, Kentucky and Freddie (Randi) Wireman of Load, Kentucky; one daughter Debbie (Marvin) Munn of South Shore, Kentucky; six grandchildren Shane Wireman, Christopher (Stephanie) Miller, Trinity Wireman, Nancy Malone, Shannon (Rebecca) Wireman, and Garth (Haylee) Wireman; nine great grandchildren Amber, Ariel, Dakota, Coalton, Blake, Emma, Nolan, Jessie, and Konner; close friend Everett Adkins of Lynn, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday February 19, 2025, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Danny Brown. Burial will be in Wireman Family Cemetery in Load, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
