Calvin Leslie Craft

Calvin Leslie Craft, 64, of Portsmouth, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Friday June 21, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Calvin was born July 25, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Charles B. and Dorothy Middaugh Craft. He was a 1978 graduate of Portsmouth High School and a retired United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins, playing video games, and playing the guitar. He loved reading his Bible and was of the Christian Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Jennifer Renae Craft and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sarah Jane Bradley Craft; one son Zachary Craft of Portsmouth, Ohio; two daughters Emily Craft of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Melissa (Andrew) Dupuis of Panama City, Florida; one brother Charlie (Phyllis) Craft of Portsmouth, Ohio and four grandchildren John Flack, Samuel Flack, Iliyaas Dupuis, and Idris Dupuis.

Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #93, Kenova, West Virginia. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with arrangements.
