Carla Gene Davis

Carla Gene Davis, 74, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born January 30, 1949, in Scioto Co., Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl and Lula Mae Tilson Spradlin. She was a graduate of Shawnee State University with a bachelors in business degree administration and retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center after 38 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Donna Spradlin and three brothers Gregory Spradlin, Jeffrey Spradlin, and Kevin Spradlin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Gordon Donald Davis

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky by Bro. Tim Underwood and former pastor and friend Gary Howell. In lieu of flowers Carla requested that donations be made to her granddaughter Samantha Davis’s college fund c/o Donald Davis – 622 Sycamore Street Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
