Chester Ross Horn

Chester Ross Horn, 91, of Wurtland, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at River Run Healthcare in Coal Grove, Ohio. Chester was born November 9, 1930, in Wurtland, Kentucky a son of the late Joseph and Junie May Horn.

He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and attended the Greenup Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He was retired from the Carpenters Union. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Welch Horn and his second wife Margie Akers Horn; a brother George Horn; four sisters Ella Cross, Lucy Dierfield, Josephine Barker and Nellie Hale.

He is survived by a brother John Horn of Wurtland, Kentucky; his girlfriend Irene Baker of Wurtland, Kentucky, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, May 2, 2002, at Reed Funeral home in Greenup by Pastor Rodney Vance. Burial will be in the Uhlen Branch Cemetery in Wurtland, Kentucky.
