Christy Dawn Kessler

Christy Dawn Kessler, 41, of Wheelersburg, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, April 10, 2023 at SOMC Hospice Care Center following a brief illness. Christy was born September 13, 1973, in Bartow, Florida.

She is survived by her friends and family of Scioto Residential Services, STAR, Inc. and Scioto County Development Disabilities. Christy is also survived by her siblings Ruby, Mike, Andy, Lori, Pression, Scott, Becky, Jacob, Ana, Jean Claude, and Melissa. Christy joined the SRS family in 2002 and was an adored member of the Green Street Ladies. She will be greatly missed by India, Kim, Mary, Sierra, and her family of DSP’s.

Christy formed loving bonds with others. She will be remembered for her tenacity, her self-advocacy, her love of laughter and fun, and of all things Sponge Bob and the Fonz.

Christy had the ability to light up the room and make others smile, which is a special gift. From the words of Barbara Jordan-Scoff, Christy was “a truly pure soul who absence will be felt by so many who loved her”. Rest in Heaven, our dear Christy Dawn.
