Cindy Renee Mershon

Cindy Renee Mershon, 50, of Portsmouth, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her residence in Portsmouth, Ohio. Cindy was born April 8, 1972, in Portsmouth, Ohio a daughter of Charlie Wilson of Portsmouth, Ohio and the late Sharon Logan Wilson. She was a 1990 graduate of Portsmouth West High School. She graduated from Shawnee State University with an associate degree in computer programming. In 2010 she graduated from Daymar College with an Associates in Criminal Justice. She loved vacationing at the beach and going on cruises. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by the father of her children Tony Mershon. In addition to her father, she is survived by her Fiancé Tracy Frye of Portsmouth, Ohio; one daughter Taylor Mershon (Houston Russell) of Portsmouth, Ohio; one son T.J. Mershon (Morgan Marcum) of Richmond, Kentucky; one granddaughter Kinley Mershon; her best friend Rebecca “Becki” Marsh of Portsmouth, Ohio; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other family members. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
