Dale Raymond Wesley

Dale Raymond Wesley, Sr., 63, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. Dale was born November 22, 1960, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Charles A. Wesley Sr. and Helen Luther Cyrus.  He was devoted to the love of his life Kimberly Craft for the last 23 years who was by his side until his last moment on this earth.

 He was preceded in death by his stepfather Leroy Cyrus; four brothers Roger Buckler, John Buckler, Mark Wesley, and Charles Wesley Jr.; and grandson Nicholous Thomas.

 He is survived by two sons Dale R. Wesley Jr. of Portsmouth, Ohio and Aaron B. Wesley of Portsmouth, Ohio; one stepson Paul Rusk of North Canton, Ohio; three stepdaughters Christina Hammons of South Webster, Ohio, Melissa (Jason) Justice of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Tiffany Reynolds of Troy, Ohio; and eight grandchildren Jaustin Justice, Samantha (Billy) Boggs, Erica (Samuel) Pitts, Aaron Wesley, Tyler Wesley, Lacy Wesley, Cory Wesley, and Cheyenne Wesley.; seven great grandchildren Jordan, Thea, Chloe, Alexis, and Brianna Boggs, Kolton Ferguson, and Edward McGahan IV; his uncle Billy Luther; and many other beloved step siblings, nieces, and nephews.

 A celebration of life will be held at a later date for his family and friends. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements.
