Darell W. Griffith

Darell W. Griffith, 59, of Greenup, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his home.

Darell was born March 23, 1964, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of Delia Skidmore of Grayson, Kentucky and the late Paul Griffith.

Darell was a 1982 graduate of Greenup County High School.  He attended the University of Kentucky and Morehead State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Darell was a former employee at Hanco in Ashland, Kentucky. He was the owner of the former Ashland Winnelson Plumbing Supply in Ashland, Kentucky. Darell also was a youth Pastor at New Life Fellowship Baptist Church in Russell, Kentucky.

He is survived by his daughter Johanna Marie Griffith of Greenup, Kentucky; his mother Delia (Bruce) Griffith Skidmore of Grayson, Kentucky; two brothers Brian (Michelle) Griffith of Ashland, Kentucky, and Troy (Michelle) Griffith of Greenup, Kentucky; two nieces and a nephew. Darell will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Jason Plummer.  Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens, Flatwoods, Kentucky.
