David Allen Slone Sr.

David Allen Slone Sr.,55, of Louisa, Kentucky passed way Sunday, May 2, 2021 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

David was born March 3, 1966 in Louisa, Kentucky a son of the late Cecil and Amanda McDowell Slone.

He was a graduate of Lawrence County High School and was a Christian.

He is survived by a son David Allen Slone Jr. of Richmond, Kentucky; two daughters Amy Gasspro and Breanna Lowe both of Wilmington, North Carolina;

two brothers James “Rick” (Vickie) Slone and Kenneth Greg (Lisa) Slone both of Louisa, Kentucky; a sister Sharon (George) Newsome of Louisa, Kentucky; a granddaughter Adalyn Gasspro; a host of nieces, nephews and family members who loved him dearly.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Lawrence County Community Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday.

Reed Funeral Home in Greenup are in charge of arrangements.
