Deann Marie Hay

Deann Marie Hay, 60, of Russell, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. Deann was born March 23, 1962, in West Port Island, Maine a daughter of Thomas Poplin and the late Edith (Whitten) Poplin. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister Diana Hay; one granddaughter Skyler Rowe; and one grandson Trenton Workman.

In addition to her father and his wife Janet of Wurtland, Kentucky she is survived by one son Kenneth (April) Kosobud III of Flatwoods, Kentucky; two daughters Christina Workman of Flatwoods, Kentucky and Cinthia (David) Perry of Ashland, Kentucky; one brother Tom (Beverly) Poplin of Colorado; seven grandchildren J.D. Workman, Daniel Workman, Marie Workman, Brandon Workman, Lesley Rowe, Kenneth E. Kosobud IV, and Jordan M. Kosobud.

Graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Poynter Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
