Decima “Toots’ Scott Virgin

Decima “Toots’ Scott Virgin, 97, of Oldtown, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Trinity Station in Flatwoods, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. Decima was born October 26, 1927, in Hopewell, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Alice Hamilton Scott. She was a member of Oldtown Christian Church and loved flowers and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Rezin Virgin; one daughter Judy Kay Virgin; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son William (Jeanie) Virgin of Greenup, Kentucky; one daughter Linda Wellman of Oldtown, Kentucky; one brother Connor (Vera) Scott of Ashland, Kentucky; two grandchildren Scott (Cheryl) Wellman and Deanna (Mark) DeLancy; six great grandchildren Craig, Gregory, Brett, Alex, Mathew, and Andrew; and three great great grandchildren James, Ridley, and Teddy.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Oldtown Christian Church in Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Brian Flannery. Burial will be in Oldtown Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday at the church . Online condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
