Jerry Boodry

Jerry Boodry, 73, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away June 17, 2024, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Jerry was born December 9, 1950, in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Glen and Patsy Boodry.

Jerry was a 1968 graduate of Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas, Attended Morehead State University for two years. He retired as a crane operator from Armco Steel. After retirement he spent his time being a stay-at-home dad.

He enjoyed The Beatles, collecting sports cars, and playing with his two toy poodles Boone and Pepper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Tom Boodry and Jim Boodry.

He is survived by His loving wife Geneva Boodry of Lloyd, Kentucky; one daughter Courtney (Alan Brooks) Boodry of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother Brian (Diane) Boodry of Brookfield Connecticut; one sister Carol (Dave) Wilcox of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky followed by a graveside service at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
