Margaret Hendrickson Bain

Margaret Hendrickson Bain, 88, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away June 25, 2024, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Margaret was born February 20, 1936, in Pineville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dilly and Hazel Stepp Hendrickson. She was a 1954 graduate of Lone Jack High School in Pineville, Kentucky. She lived in Goshen, Ohio for years before moving to Kentucky. Margaret had a great love for horses. She owned and raised racehorses and loved growing tomatoes. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Ross Bain; one brother Don Martin Hendrickson; and one sister Deanna Hendrickson Music.

She is survived by one sister Mildred Bates of Greenup, Kentucky; two brothers Billy (Ruth) France of Tennessee and W.H. Hendrickson of Grayson, Kentucky; one brother-in-law Donald Music of Ashland, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Bellefonte Memorial Garden in Flatwoods, Kentucky by Don Music. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
