Mary Etta Nichols

Mary Etta Nichols, 72, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Mary was born June 21, 1949, in Ironton, Ohio a daughter of the late Roy and Jessie Litteral Workman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Okie Nichols; three brothers Robert Litteral, Frankie Workman, and Stevie Workman; two sisters Connie Palmer and Janet Roark.

She was a member of Living Waters Worship Center in Cannonsburg, Kentucky. She loved her church and church family. She raised a lot of children, took care of many elderly people, painted houses, and loved to do wood crafts. She was very talented. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday November 1, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Tim French. Burial will be in McGuire Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Monday.
