Paul Allen Blevins

Paul Allen Blevins, 77, of Argillite, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by his family who he loved dearly.

Paul was born October 14, 1945, in Greenup, Kentucky, a son of the late Andy and Lona Jones Blevins. Paul was a masonry and had his own company B&B Masonry Co. for many years.

He loved to go camping with his family. He loved to hunt and fish, but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family who he cared greatly for. He was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Ally Blevins; a grandson Cody Blevins; four sisters Dorothy Thomas, Mary Blevins, Evelyn Click, and Virginia Miles; three brothers David Blevins, Denny Blevins, and Bob Blevins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rosa Marie Smith Blevins; three sons Charles (Bonnie) Blevins of Waco. Texas, Timothy (Elaine) Blevins of Inez, Kentucky, and Jacob Gedeon of Argillite, Kentucky; three daughters Sheila (Danny) Rodgers of Cleburne, Texas, Arelina (Jeff) Gedeon of Ironton, Ohio, and Pamela Wallingsford of Joshua, Texas; three brothers Gordon Blevins of Greenup, Kentucky, Charles (Evelyn Chapman) Blevins of Argillite, Kentucky, and George (Sherry) Blevins of Ironton, Ohio; three sisters Delores Young of Pedro, Ohio, Sue Reynolds of Kitts Hill, Ohio, and Roseline Rice of Ashland, Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Minister Dennis Miles. Burial will be in the Blevins Memorial Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00 -8:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 and one hour before the service on Monday.
