Paul Elmer Hunt

Paul Elmer Hunt, 79, of Greenup, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 4, 2023, at his residence in Greenup. He was born January 23, 1944, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Forrest and Verna Lou Howard Hunt.

Paul was a former elder at Greenup Christian Church He was a 1961 graduate of the former McKell High School, where he had played in the band.  Paul was very proud of being a McKell Bulldog. He was a United States Navy Veteran.  He also worked as a parts clerk at Greenup Farm Supply for several years. Paul was a musician and artist. He loved painting. Paul was a very kind and caring man who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Edgar Hunt, Leroy hunt, and Roger Dale Hunt and one sister Shirley Kay Ramp.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Shannon Crisp Hunt; three sons Patrick Andrew Hunt of Cincinnati, Ohio, Paul Elmer (Vickie) Hunt of Greenup, Kentucky, and Douglas Sean (Carole Anne) Hunt of Wurtland, Kentucky; two grandchildren Levi and Mackenzie; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday August 7, 2023, at Greenup Christian Church in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Mike Dennis. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time.
