Rayene Mullins
Rayene Mullins, 62, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family. Rayene was born March 22, 1962, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ray Arthur Barnett and Myrtle Louise Barnett Daihl.
Rayene was a 1980 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School in Coal Grove, Ohio, was a retired waitress from Golden Corral and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons and was an avid NASCAR fan. One of her favorite drivers was Kacey Kane. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Kevin Barnett, and Danny Barnett; one sister Tammy Whitesed.
She is survived by a son Simeon “Artie” (Kayla) Mullins of Kitts Hill, Ohio; three daughters Crystal (Mark) Swed of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Sarah (Rob) Byerly of Plain City, Ohio, and Bobbie Jean (Cory) Hanley of Ironton, Ohio; two brothers Larry Barnett of Franklin Furnace, Ohio and Greg Barnett of Grove City, Ohio; two sisters Joan Mullins of Ironton, Ohio and Vicki Malone of Portsmouth, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren Brea (Seth) Canterbury, Allison “Pumpkin” Byerly, Cory Swed, Oliver Byerly, Paul Byerly, Peri Mullins, Byron Byerly, Emma ”M” Swed, Arthur Byerly, Max Mullins, Autumn Anderson, Beau Anderson, and Gabriel “Gabe” Hanley; two great grandchildren Ava “Noodle” Swed and Ace Wilburn; several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup has been entrusted with the arrangements.
