Raymond Grant Baldridge
Raymond Grant Baldridge, 64, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, formerly of Russell, Kentucky passed away suddenly, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his home. Grant was born July 19, 1960, in Ironton, Ohio, a son of the late Raymond and Joyce Cavin Baldridge. Grant was a 1978 graduate of Russell High School and was a retired locomotive engineer for CSX Railroad. He spent a lot of time with his drag racing friends, the “Curb Dogs” sitting around talking. He enjoyed working on cars, especially his Wagon as he called it. Grant loved sports and coaching his daughter’s softball team. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan. Grant loved to bowl, he earned many trophies and awards over the years. Most of all Grant loved his family and grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 31 years Kimberly Bays Baldridge; two sons Dustin (Brandi) Baldridge of Westerville, Ohio and Nicholas (Betty Conley) Baldridge of Cannonsburg, Kentucky; a daughter Molly (Justin) Crager of Wheelersburg, Ohio; four grandchildren Grant Daniel, Oaklyn, Afton, and Myles; a special cousin/ friend Steve Hensley of Wurtland, Kentucky; many great friends that will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Monday, October 21, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup Kentucky by Bro. Russell Schmidt. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
