Rebecca Patterson

Rebecca June “Becky” Patterson, 78. of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Care in Portsmouth, Ohio. Becky was born June 26, 1945, in Wrigley, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Emory and Reba Fannin Green. Becky was a 1963 graduate of the former Greenup High School and she was valedictorian of her class. Becky was a library clerk for 47 years at the Greenup County Public Library.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Wayne Patterson and a brother Robert Green.

She is survived by her daughter who loved her dearly Wendy Lynn Patterson; an adopted son Terry (Pamela) Taulbee of Lloyd, Kentucky, and a niece Debbie (Mike) Adkins of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Dr. Tom Melvin.  Burial will be in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, Kentucky.
