Ruie Brown

Ruie Brown, 97, of Argillite, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson, Kentucky. Ruie was born August 22, 1927, in Hunnewell, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Homer and Betty McCall Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Curtis Brown, J.T. Brown, and Farris Brown; two sisters Ruth Sallie and Erma Blevins. Ruie attended Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers Donald (Betty) Brown and Homer (Jacqueline) Brown both of Argillite, Kentucky; two sisters Eloise Johnson of Argillite, Kentucky and Betty Moore of Oldtown, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 14, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky.  Burial will be in East Carter Memory Garden, in Grayson, Kentucky. Visitation will be 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
