Sandra Sue Brinegar

Sandra Sue Brinegar, 74, of Argillite, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born November 12, 1948, in Argillite Kentucky, a daughter of the late Wayne Curtis Kitchen and Ruth Pierce Byers.

Sandra was a member of the Kenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Russell, Kentucky.  She loved her two granddaughters and spending time with them and her family. She enjoyed going antique hunting and shopping. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Harold Kitchen; a grandson Baby Boy Brinegar and her stepfather Ivan (Cotton) Byers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Larry Brinegar; two sons Paul Brinegar of Argillite, Kentucky, and Kenneth (Tracie) Brinegar of Raceland, Kentucky; a brother Charles (Sue) Kitchen of Greenup, Kentucky; two granddaughters Josie and Kylie Brinegar; a niece and several nephews; a special friend Freda Grizzle of Argillite, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Pastor Dallas Sutton.  Burial will be in the Pierce Cemetery in Argillite, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
