Sue Ann Jackson

Sue Ann Jackson, 84, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with Lord, Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mrs. Jackson was born July 18, 1936, in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Leon H. and Laura Huffman Ransdell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Lois Ellen Talkington and Jackie Ransdell; and one grandson Justin Quintin Ashley Stewart.

Sue was a member of Argillite Church of the Nazarene where she was also the Missionary President for 6+ years. She was a seamstress for the Cinderella Dress Factory. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Thomas Jackson

One son Thomas Leon Jackson of Kennesaw, Georgia

Kozetta Ann (Jeffrey “Smo”) Stewart of Catlettsburg, Kentucky

Jackie Childers of Greenup, Kentucky

Four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a special friend Naomi Caldwell of Princeton, West Virginia.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday July 16, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home by Pastor Lloyd Baldridge and Bro. Thomas Switzer. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday and one hour before the service on Friday.
