Terry "Kidd" Huffman

Terry "Kidd" Huffman, 68, of Warnock, Kentucky, gained his wings on December 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Terry was born September 16, 1956 in Connersville, Indiana, the only son of the late Ruby Smith and William T. Huffman. Terry was a jack of all trades and has driven trucks, core drilled and everything in between. He was a 1974 graduate of Greenup County High School. He recently retired from Ohio Valley Veneers. Terry was a diehard UK fan and hated the Hoosiers. He loved to shoot pool and watch NASCAR races. He frequently went to the local dirt tracks racing circuit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Barbara Huffman and Linda Huffman.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Peggy Boyles Huffman of Warnock; two daughters Kimberly (Paul) Rothenstine and Leighann Huffman of Greenup, Kentucky, three grandchildren Paige Rothenstine (Mike) Short, Ethan Hall, and Shyann Skeens; three great-grandchildren, Paisley, Braeleigh Jo and Maddox; an uncle that was like a brother to him Steven Smith; his cat "Little Girl”; and a lifelong special friend Harry Vaughn.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurses Tiffani and Gracie.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky. Burial will be in Warnock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday. Condolences may be made at www.rlrfuneralhome.com.
